Our network of FOG Recovery Hubs is rapidly expanding across the UK, but we are still looking for more locations. Our service offers the opportunity to efficiently treat any FOG onsite and generate new revenue streams from processing grease trap waste from commercial kitchens.

Liquid waste disposal operators can be charged gates fees to deliver FOG waste streams and additional income comes from creating resources for biofuels, which allows us to offer competitive pricing for services. There are also environmental benefits with the saving of greenhouse gas emissions that can help contribute towards moving to net zero emissions.

Across the UK, over £200 million a year is currently being spent on removing blockages in sewers and drainage networks caused directly by fats, oils and grease (FOG). The majority of FOG problems are created by commercial kitchens not installing grease traps or failing to have waste removed safely. Our FOG Recovery Hubs offer a service where liquid FOG waste can be quickly offloaded and processed, using only a fraction of the energy required by anaerobic digesters.

The innovative technology breaks FOG down into valuable resources for biofuel, organic matter for fertiliser, and water, which can be treated for reuse or safely discharged to the environment. In addition, our FOG Recovery Hubs do not require the use of any costly chemical additives or fossil fuels, and there are no expensive landfill fees to pay, which is great for businesses and even better for the environment.

FOG Recovery Hubs are automated, scalable and fully maintained

Eco Clarity FOG Recovery Hubs are fully automated and maintained by our qualified engineers, so site operatives are only required to greet drivers and monitor loads.

Each unit can intercept and separate-out over 240,000 litres of liquid waste per day, and this volume can be scaled-up as required. The service is designed to be extremely quick and energy efficient, requiring only one-fifth of the energy anaerobic digesters need to treat 95% FOG concentrate. Our sophisticated monitoring system can analyse FOG waste in real-time and generate an invoice based on volume and content. It also enables us to schedule deliveries, ensuring tankers are processed quickly avoiding any congestion.
