Sustainability
Sustainability at the heart of what we do
Climate change is already having visible effects, the world is warming, rainfall patterns changing and sea levels rising. We take our sustainability responsibilities very seriously both as a company and the new technologies that we are investing in, so we can be part of the solution to the crisis.
How our technologies support environmental sustainability
Our FOG Recovery Hub technology has been designed to offer a sustainable solution to the disposal of fats, oils and grease (FOG) wastewater. The technology takes problematic FOG and converts it into resources for biofuels, organic solids for fertilisers and water, which can be reused or safely returned to the network. This ground-breaking technology uses a fraction of the energy that other solutions require.
This circular economy service ensures valuable resources are recovered and reused. It also stops FOG being released into the environment, where it can harm aquatic life and release greenhouse gases, contributing to climate change
