Private Waste Sites

FOG disposal services that are profitable and eco-friendly

Recycling fats, oils and grease into valuable biofuels

Eco Clarity’s ground-breaking technology, creates an exciting opportunity to generate additional revenue streams from the disposal of fats, oils and grease (FOG) waste. Our technology has taken over a decade to develop, it separates out problematic FOG from wastewater and recovers valuable energy resources for biofuel production. We are able to generate recurring revenue from biofuel production, which allows us to deliver our FOG disposal services at very competitive prices.

In addition, our service offers significant environmental benefits with a radical reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, that can be used to contribute to net zero targets.

Eco Clarity are currently installing a network of FOG Recovery Hubs across the UK, at wastewater treatment works and other sites easily accessible for liquid waste tanker operators.

Additional benefits for wastewater utilities

Eco Clarity are looking for new suitable sites to locate our FOG Recovery Hubs. This is an opportunity for waste service companies to generate additional revenue streams from gate fees at their sites, along with shared profits from treating FOG and producing biodiesel resources. Our FOG Recovery Hubs are fully automated and maintained by our qualified engineers, so site operatives are only required to greet drivers and monitor loads.

Each unit can intercept and separate-out in excess of 240,000 litres/day of liquid waste from food service and processing facilities, and this amount can be further scaled-up as required. The service is designed to be extremely quick and energy efficient, requiring only one-fifth of the energy anaerobic digesters need to treat 95% FOG concentrate. Our sophisticated monitoring system can analyse FOG wastewater in real-time and generate an invoice based on content, and detailing greenhouse gas savings. It also enables us to schedule deliveries, ensuring tankers are processed quickly avoiding any congestion.
